- See Europe Grad Trip
Warning
I just spent a lot of money
While travelling, I’m trying to balance:
- Travelling light
- Having everything I need (being Prepared)
- Reusing items that I’m buying now
- Not spending an absurd amount of money
Things that I bought
Things that I decided that I really need:
- Osprey Men’s Farpoint 40L Travel Backpack: This is going to be the place where I carry all of my stuff
- Dopp Toiletry Kit: I guess a ziplock bag would do just as well here, but something to hold my toiletries
- Drylite Towel: This is one of those things you always forget about until you need it
Things that I thought would be very convenient to have:
- INIU 25000mAh 100W power bank: I’ll use this after my trip since its just a good power bank as recommended by Josh Blayone. Should have enough juice to power my phone 4x at 100W. TSA compliant and small.
- Osprey ultralight clear liquids pouch: I wanted a separate bag to store my travel liquids like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
- Amazon essentials packing cubes: Not completely sold on if I need these (might return them) but might help with organization and compressing my clothes in my bag.
- Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Day Pack: Instead of buying the Osprey 50L which I researched was a worse overall bag than the 40L variant due to the weird placement of features and the bulky addition of the 15L daypack to the front of the bag, I decided to separately buy a daypack. Buying a daypack vs the 55L Osprey Farpoint was about a $25 difference for in my opinion, better form and function so I think this was justifiable. This daypack can compress into something fucking tiny.
Things that I did not need to buy but did anyways cause they were cool and I might need them:
- HEROCLIP: A fucking $20 carabiner that also is a hook lol.
- Nite Ize S-Biner: These are basically tiny carabiners that can function as locks. Might deter pickpockets.
All in all, I spent: $437.34 with black Friday sales. I better use this shit more than once.
Success
