A note on projects
Projects used to be something that I grinded to get internships. As such, I approached them with a lack of curiosity and a “get shit done” mindset (see Technical Masturbation). This pattern broke during my work on Perceptions. Now my relationship with projects is much more dynamic where I use them as an avenue to explore my curiosity and to develop useful tools that would benefit me.
Why don’t you have time for projects?
- I don’t have time for projects. Not because I actually don’t have time, but because I lack the knowledge to finish them, making it feel like a project would take a long time to finish. Learning through serendipity is not a fast process. If I knew enough to finish the project, I would feel like I had enough time. Therefore, I need to continue Learning.
